About
Rebound Stories
Rebound Stories is a literary bindery and bookish embroidery studio creating handcrafted book covers, journals, and textile pieces. Each piece is made in small batches, with an emphasis on thoughtful materials, traditional techniques, and designs meant to be read, kept, and loved.
The Work
At the heart of Rebound Stories is the belief that books are more than objects - they are stories worth returning to.
Each rebind is completed by hand, from board cutting and cloth wrapping to spine preparation, casing-in, and pressing. This slow, multi-day process allows for careful construction and long-term durability. Because of this, quantities are intentionally limited, and no two pieces are exactly alike.
Alongside rebinds, Rebound Stories also offers bookish embroidery and journals, designed to complement a literary life - quiet, tactile pieces inspired by reading, writing, and storytelling.
The Maker
Rebound Stories was founded by a lifelong reader and maker based in PA. What began as a personal exploration of bookbinding grew into a small studio focused on slow craft and intentional design.
Every piece is made by hand, with care given to both function and feeling - honoring the stories we return to, and objects that hold them.
